"Good: Wonderful decorated house. The room was very comfy and had all you needed for a good night sleep 😴. The garden 🪴 is beautiful and big and you can perfectly slow down from the day’s walk in case you are on the Stevenson way. Don’t forget to book the dinner 🍽️. Marie and Markus are excellent hosts and I enjoyed the evening very much trying to better my French. The food was absolutely delicious 😋 and Marie is a great cook 👩‍🍳. Thanks and congratulations to the place you have built!"

"The warm welcome ‘fit for a king’ was a total surprise, and well received. The attention of our hosts was ‘top class’ and throughout our short stay could not be more welcoming. The house is exemplary with a mixture of old and new styles with adorning artefacts of travel & of collection. The bedroom was comfortable, quiet and exquisitely decorated, well suited for all types of travellers. A personal thank you for hosting us for dinner as local facilities were closed; an excellent supper with conversation was enjoyed. A peaceful & restful sleep enabled us to feel energised for the next days hike on the Chemin de Stevenson post a glorious immense breakfast! Thank you so much Marie 🙏"

"Ein fast 400 Jahre altes Haus, liebevoll renoviert, ein Schmuckkästchen! Die Gästezimmer sind überaus komfortabel ausgestattet und sehr geschmackvoll dekoriert. Das Frühstück ist großartig und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Die Besitzer sind selbst weit gereist und Gastgeber aus Leidenschaft. Das ganze Haus atmet diesen Geist! Dass hier in der Regel kein Abendessen angeboten wird, ist kein Problem, weil ganz in der Nähe im einzigen Restaurant des Dorfes in familiärer Atmosphäre gut, reichlich und günstig aufgetischt wird. Fast zu schade für nur eine Nacht!"

"Que dire ? Cette charmante maison et ses magnifiques chambres offrent une halte tout a fait reposante dans ce petit village sur la route du Stevenson. Marie nous a proposé les services d’une masseuse professionnelle après une longue journée de marche ! Une attention très appréciée qui a pu soulager ma compagne et moi meme de sévères courbatures. Le déjeuner est excellent, il est servi dans un cadre très chaleureux qui invite a la discussion. On se sent bien, on aimerait rester mais déjà on doit repartir…."

"Marie et Markus nous ont très chaleureusement accueillis dans leur maison de famille, une ancienne demeure située sur une des étapes du Chemin de Stevenson. La maison est savamment décorée de souvenirs de voyage ramenés des quatre coins du monde qui côtoient photos de famille et trouvailles de Marie qui a un goût exquis pour la décoration. Les chambres sont luxueuses, la literie est très confortable, les salles de bains spacieuses. Le petit déjeuner est servi dans la grande cuisine et partagé avec les hôtes qui prennent le temps d'échanger et de vous renseigner sur la région. C'est bien plus qu'un gîte, on se sent accueillis comme chez des amis!"
