"In a lovely quiet part of the country with all the amenities you need. Also the host Cyril was gracious, helpful and friendly and for an extra cost delivered a delicious breakfast to us. A lovely place to stay that is dog friendly. It is also 15 minutes from Albert which has lots of restaurants and shops."

"Wonderfully peaceful, well equipped, spacious and airy. Very comfortable beds. While I was not aware of the historic surroundings of this property, the books and information in the house only enhanced our enjoyment of being there. A perfect place to stay if you have children who make lots of noise (as we do!)...as it is some distance from any property ."

"The location was perfect for us. We only stayed 1 night, but I would have liked to spend more. It is one of the cleanest places we stayed in. You can visit a lot in the proximity: Saint Remy de Provence, l'Isle sur la Sorgue, Fontaine de Vaucluse, Gordes etc"

"Wir waren 2 Wochen in Le Bacares im Urlaub uns hat es dort sehr gut gefallen. Die Unterkunft war hervorragend die Vermieter waren sehr nett und zuvorkommend auch die Sprachbarriere die vorhanden war hat überhaupt kein problem dargestellt. Wir würden wenn wir wieder in Le Bacares Urlaub machen diese Unterkunft wieder buchen."

"Im Haus und im Garten ist alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. (Küchenausstattung/Gartenmöbel etc.) Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Anwohnerstraße jedoch nur wenige Meter vom kleinen Strand und zum Küstenwanderweg GR 34 entfernt. Zum Markt, den Restaurants sowie den Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie zum Hafen sind es ca. 10/15 Minuten zu Fuß. Der große Strand bei der Pointe de la Torche ist in ca. 10 Km mit dem Auto gut erreichbar."

"Very nice villa with fantastic sea view. Calm and relaxing location ideal to explore the Cote d'Azure. 5 minutes walk to the closest beach. Well equipped house and kitchen."
"The 3 gites at La Chataignerie were a perfect choice for our large group holiday to celebrate a friend's 60th. Each gite was very tastefully and stylishly decorated and really well appointed (esp the aircon!). Comfy beds, nice sofas, lamps, mirrors all exactly where you wanted them. Pool was lovely and the communal outside eating area, communal fridge and games room were absolutely brilliant. Our host Pat and the property manager Philippe were so attentive and when a couple of things went wrong, Philippe sorted them very quickly. They were also really helpful with giving us suggestions for visits and restaurants. All in all a really fab holiday in beautiful accommodation in the middle of the Deux Sevres countryside."
