"After 600km in the car, Les Jarriers is an absolute haven of tranquility. The location is amazing - ten minutes from the A10 and you are in the heart of the calm, rural France that is Dame-Marie-Les-Bois. The Gîte itself is set in a beautiful garden. The host, Nicholas is very welcoming and friendly. Our room was very comfortable and spotless. Breakfast was excellent, I can tell I had the best "Pain Perdue" I've ever tasted! A fantastic place for a stopover or for a visit to the many famous Chateaux in the area."

"Nicholas and his wife made us feel very welcome, despite the last minute booking. The house is beautiful and tastefully furnished. Bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious with french toast and home made jams. This was a stop off for us on the way home but we would like to stay longer next time! Thank you Nicholas for making our journey so much more pleasant and relaxed."

"This is a lovely and peaceful place to stay on the Normandy coast, and it was so enjoyable to be around the horses! But be aware that this is a working riding school and stable, not a 5-star luxury chateau. The snacks and drinks machine in the welcome area was a lifesaver! The room and bathroom were also quite clean, though be sure to bring extra bedding if you like lots of cozy blankets."

"Het huisje is van alle gemakken voorzien, met een prima douche en keukenvoorzieningen. Tijdens ons verblijf was het erg warm maar het zwembad gaf heerlijke verkoeling. De gastvrouw was erg aardig en sprak gelukkig goed Engels. Dit huisje is een prima keus voor 2 personen"
