"We loved the bulding and all the rooms. We were the only guests on the night we stayed so were able to see all the bedrooms. Nicolas was an extremely friendly and attentive host. The evening meal, cooked by him, using ingredients from his own garden, was delicious. The breakfast was just as good with fresh bread and croissants, home made jam and yoghurts."

"Beautiful house with a swirly whirly staircase. The evening meal, cooked by Nicholas was lovely. The communal experience of our table d'hôte was novel and enjoyable. Nicholas was welcoming and friendly, and catered to all our needs throughout our stay. Loved the blue peacock room!"

"Everything from the moment we met our host Nicolas far exceeded anything we could have wished for. Sadly we were only there for a short 3 day mini break. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. Nicolas prepared us an amazing dinner on our first night. His breakfast are outstanding, all home made produce, jam with a little help from his mum's secret recipe. Real coffee! Incredibly attentive host. We will return with friends next time"

"What a find! This is a beautiful richly-decorated peaceful countryside hotel in gorgeous lush grounds. Our sumptuous room had a four poster bed and roll top bath overlooking the garden. Amaury was a wonderful host.. so friendly, helpful, interesting and interested. Fantastic good value stopover about an hour from Calais."

"Ideally situated above the town with only a short walk to the castle, shops and restaurants. The hotel was surrounded by a lovely peaceful mature garden, providing an oasis of calm while the public rooms were tastefully decorated and comfortable. The bedroom was functional, very clean and had an excellent shower. Friendly and helpful staff."

"Hezká část města, moderní. Určitě příjemnější než centrum Bordeaux. Hotel dobrý na přespání, v blízkosti supermarket i restaurace, pekárna. Na náměstí probíhal trh. Kousek je tramvaj do centra i na nádraží. Snídaně normální, odpovídající typu hotelu. Souhlasím, že pokud je někdo trochu turista, dá se celé Bordeaux projít pěšky."
