"Maison Marie is beautifully designed in impeccable country style taste. Everything within the property is unique, tasteful and useful. There was nothing that wasn’t supplied even a milk frother. Marie is the most delightful host and genuinely cares for your needs . Breakfast was sublime and milk, juice, jams, teabags all provided. We adored the village of Lagarde and cannot understand why it’s not be designated a “ plus beau village”. Thank you Marie for a wonderful stay."

"Marie's 3-floor house is an absolute gem. On the ground floor is a wonderful kitchen and dining area, equipped with everything you could need. On the floor above is a nice sitting area for relaxation and reading. and including a smart TV. On the top floor is a lovely bedroom (very comfortable, large bed) and bathroom. Everything is modern and clean. Marie provided us with delicious and generous breakfasts each morning, with enough left over for lunch!, along with other provisions. The location is excellent, with the vibrant town on Mirepoix on the doorstep. There were lots of events in the region in the Summer. There is a nice walk to Camon, which is a beautiful village, from the doorstep. Marie is a kind and thoughtful host and this is a place we would love to return to."

"We spent 2 nights at Marie's house with my wife, and we highly recommend this place for a few days while traveling around the area. Marie greets you with a lot of warmth, and her home is crafted and decorated by her with great care; you can truly feel the love she has put into every detail of the house. The space is roomy, clean, and equipped with all amenities. Additionally, Marie takes care of breakfast personally and with a homemade touch!"

"Great sunny West facing balcony with afternoon sun and mt blanc view. Easy location by ski bus stop, shops nearby. Quite. Comfy twin beds, sofa bed worked OK for daughter. Clean, compact but well laid out and worked well for family of 3. Well equiped. Microwave is also an oven. Car parking, although didn't need. Helpful office staff who looked after bags on last day."

"We were so impressed with the location and our hosts Guy and Corine that it was really hard to leave on our way back home! They were very kind, helpful, gave us a lot of tips, recommendations, helped us find our way around the region. The breakfast was great, Guy made us very good fruit juces, their dog Judie was our kids' greatest joy. The pool was wonderful. For our family of 4 - we have two children of 7 and 8, it was really the Best place."

"Regine was an absolutely delightful and charming hostess. She made us feel very welcome and her petit dejeuner was wonderful and was a great start to the day. Our room was very large and comfortable and spotlessly clean. Nothing was too much trouble for her and when we had to leave very early for the airport she insisted on getting up to make us cafe au lait and heat the croissants. We were genuinely sad when he said au revoir to her."
