"The room is small, but contains everything one could wish for! Impeccably clean, and with a very comfortable bed, a good hot shower and a well-organised kitchenette, it was a pleasure to stay here. The owner was welcoming, helpful and responsive, and also welcomed my dog. The house is situated just outside Saint-James in beautiful countryside. There appears to be plenty of tracks and trails to explore. However, heavy rain means that I will have to return!"

"Un cadre magnifique, chargé d'histoire. La maison parfaitement équipée, tout ce qu'il faut dans la cuisine pour ceux qui aiment cuisiner, avec tout le nécessaire pour dépanner quand on vient d'arriver. La gentille attention de la bouteille de cidre et les caramels qui font très plaisir en arrivant ! Des prioritaires très sympas, accueillants, passionnés par l'histoire des lieux. Et pour les fans d'animaux, Gérard le bouc très familier dans le bois à côté du château."

"The location was superb and priced very well for this. The apartment is lovely and very comfortable with everything you could need for a city break. Importantly for us, it was quiet despite being centrally located. Of note, one bedroom is a mezzanine up a ladder, and the apartment itself is up 3 flight of spiral stairs. Neither were a problem for us, but they might pose an issue for people with mobility issues, or younger children. We travelled with two teens. The hosts were excellent, responding to my questions promptly. I was sent a link called Bait to check in through; I was concerned about putting my details into a different website, but this was all legitimate and secure, and worked well to provide us with the codes to enter the property."
