"I have stayed two days in the studio of the Ferme de Bonavis. The studio is excellent equipped and very quiet. The breakfast in the main house is well organised, everything you asked for is available. The host is very friendly and provides you with all possible information of the countryside, especially about the First World War. De Ferme is very well situated for visits of Cambrai, Saint Quentin and the battlefields of the First World War. There are fine restaurants nearby."

"Full of history. Big welcome from the host. She made us feel completely relaxed. Nothing was too much trouble. Recommended a new pizza restaurant in a town near by which was superb. We were travelling with a dog. The accommodation was superb for a large Golden Retriever. Nice big garden to have a run in and a river nearby to have a nice walk along. Only upset that she was fully booked for the trip home😩 Breakfast was great. All ingredients home made from the farm produce. Fresh yogurt, rhubarb and fig jam along with fresh French bread and croissants. Amazing."

"Everything! Carole was a fantastic host. Amazing breakfast, lovely quiet room (we had the studio) with no traffic noise and comfy beds, hot shower, big towels and a kettle! (Don't often have them in French hotels we found and being English we need our morning tea...). Highly recommend this lovely place with such interesting history about the building and warm welcoming hosts. Top notch!"

"Great location just off the Motorway a few hours from the port of Calais. We were met by our friendly host who spoke good English and told us about the history of the farm and surrounding area. Very interesting! The room was very comfortable, very quiet and very secure for parking our motorcycle. Inside a gated farmyard and in a locked garage. Breakfast was excellent. Homemade yogurt and jams, cheese and bread. Simple, but delicious. Defiantly stay again given its great location and friendly welcome."

"Cecile is an excellent cook and we had a wonderful four course meal which we ate together with her and her husband and the other guests (a lovely family from the Netherlands). Fantastic rural setting and an unexpected pleasure to have all the farm animals (basically pets) around."

"Straight onto the beach , downtown Trouville, you couldn’t find a better location. Pierre and Chantal are very welcoming and reactive to any need you express. The house is beautiful and loaded with history. Wonderful home."

"A spacious comfortable house, in Lochrist with a large garden and patio. The garden was well kept with lots of lovely plants and plenty of parking space. The house had everything we needed to cook with, lots of towels, pots and pans etc, lots of space. Lochrist is a quiet hamlet, within easy walking distance of the nearest beach (about 10 mins) which led to several clifftop walks in lots of directions. The paths were easy to walk along. The beach was clean and had lots of families with children of all ages swimming and playing. There is also a large car park at the beach. The house is about a 30 minute walk to Le Conquet, where we had lunch and an evening meal a few times. There was a good choice of restaurants and shops. Our host was welcoming and helpful. She was easy to contact and quick to respond to any questions we had. We would go back and stay there if we come this way again. Thank you for a lovely holiday. :)"
