"Two storey cottage in host's garden, restored. Large bedroom and bathroom upstairs, and large living area on ground floor, with comprehensive kitchen equipment. We cooked every evening, as it was a 15 minute walk to the town centre, and the local buses, though free in Niort for everyone including visitors, and we were close to the bus stops, they stop running at 20.00. The swimming pool was a bonus, as the weather became very hot, and we ate in the garden. A friendly cat enhanced our peaceful visit. Although garden is shared, there are separate areas for sitting and dining. The extremely friendly and helpful host lives on the property in their own house.
