"For Maria, her family and everyone involved, this is definitely a vocation. The hotel has been in the family for 5 generations and the youngest member of the team has clearly been recruited to continue the tradition and is doing a sterling job. The hotel is pleasantly quirky - the room was simple but comfortable with a lovely balcony. It's well located in the centre of the village with good restaurants on the doorstep in the square. The breakfast was fabulous - home made jams and marmalade, goat butter, three different yogurts (goat, sheep, cows) and a chocolate cake baked by Maria's mother from her grandfather's recipe. But above all, the warmth of the welcome from Maria and her husband and their really helpful advice on where to go and what to see was exceptional."

"It was our second time at Dimosthenis Guest House. We took a rest there last year during our journey to Corfu and it was not a question if we return this year again. We can not be grateful enough to Maria for her hospitality. Everything was just perfect, starting from our room to the rich and delicious breakfast. Maria is a wonderful host, there is a piece of her heart in every corner of the guest house."
