"Huge, pretty room. Staff were very nice and bed was super comfy."

"Comfortable, quiet, clean. Friendly and helpful staff. On a quiet side-street. No real need to worry about safety, etc. Good value for money I felt - I paid 212Qs per night for a spacious room with two external windows on the top floor. Location was fine - 10 min walk to the central square, and if walking on Calle 4 (the main drag in), it felt very safe at all hours."
"No real complaints, just observations: I was there in May before the rainy season started and I found the rooms too warm to my Northern European sensibilities. It was about 77 F going to bed with the windows open (no ceiling fan), but happily came down to 68 F by the early morning. Likely to be much colder at night in the "winter" months. The hotel staff were helpful and arranged a fan for me. I note that no hotels in Xela seem to have a/c, so this situation is fairly standard. Breakfast not included (which I knew in advance), but a lovely bakery (Xelapan) 2 min walk away."

"Inside the building, rooms overlook a central patio, and there are communal areas on each level for guests to use. Unfortunately some inconsiderate guests use the areas for videocalls with loud volume until midnight. It was disappointing as the internal noise disrupted sleep."
