Penziony na Šalamounových ostrovech

"Located in a quiet, idyllic location near the town center, it felt like a little retreat every time we returned home. It’s a spacious house which keeps cool due to the tiling and multiple doors you can open. We didn’t need air con in September. We could close the gates so the dogs couldn’t get in, this allowed the kids to play outside. The three year old was so excited to have swings. After time in the outer islands we really needed to freshen up, so the showers and washing machine were helpful. There was good amounts of drying space, the kitchen was fully functional, and we were given our space to enjoy our holiday."

Tonga is super basic so expectations of any accomodation need to keep this in mind.

"Keeps its promises. The owner, Mr Fadiga saved my life after the Radisson hotel had cancel my booking (and the booking of 30+ guests) without informing us of this in advance. Facing the emergency situation, Mr Fadiga kindly confirmed and ensure there would be a room available for me. He told me that Mr Manet would pick me up from the airport and all promises were kept. Mr Manet was professional, friendly and helpful from the beginning to the end. He took me everyday to the the conference I had come to attend (1 hour away) and back. He was always punctual and easy to reach. This was an excellent service. The room was very large and clean. The hot water tank, air con and TV worked perfectly."

Access was an initial challenge as this was not automated so you cannot let yourself in and had to wait until someone respond to the telephone! A ringing doorbell at the gate or at the front door would be helpful!

"A home away from home. A lot of Zimbabwe accommodation is bad quality and over priced but this place is excellent. They have e multi channel TV decent WiFi in the lounge area. Reasonable breakfast included. Very nice staff"

Only the locations ten kilometres from the city. WiFi does not reach the last rooms very well. Everything else is prefect.

Tout était appréciable, au niveau de l’emplacement et pour l’espace d’ensemble. La piscine a un petit problème de fuite d’où un niveau de hauteur d’eau un peu bas. Ceci n’a que très peu altéré le plaisir de s’y être baigné.

"This beautiful, historic mountain farm was beautifully kept by the owners. Everyone was friendly. The accommodation was spotlessly clean. The home cooked food was delicious."

There was nothing I didn’t like about this property.

Není nic, co by bylo ubytovateli vytknout, vesnice intenzivně opravuje ulice, takže po dokončení bude ubytování ještě kvalitnější právě veřejnou dostupností.

"What I liked the most was, without a doubt, the host’s attention. Simply exceptional. Always attentive, giving advice on what to visit in the area, making your stay as easy, comfortable, and pleasant as possible. The guesthouse itself is spotless, the location ideal — I can only say everything was perfect."

There was absolutely nothing to complain about.

"If you're looking for a quiet place, Villa Serenity by the Water is where you need to go... and yet, it's just a throw of stone away from shops and busy places... as for the breakfast, I must say I've enjoyed the sweetest omelette ever, accompanied with a selection of fruits/yoghurt/toasts... exactly what I needed to start my next journey on the right foot !!!... apart from that, rooms are large, very well quiped and nicely decorated... making your stay real enjoyable !"

I found it a little difficult to adjust temperature in the shower as it is a sophisticated model with thermostat... but had I stayed longer, I would have asked for advice and I'm sure I would have mastered the issue !

Odmrazit lednici by bylo třeba. Snad lepší nádobí koupit. Označení hostelu nevyhovující, velmi nepatrně, všichni cizinci bloudí kolem. Vypadá to jen na rodinný domek. Chce to velký nápis.

"Very nice location, very calm, great host and delicious breakfast. Very nice that the pool is there. Only 20 min drive to Essaouira."

The shower didn’t work properly, but that can be easily fixed.

"1. Velmi příjemný, usměvavý a milý personál, 2. Výborná komunikace s majitelem, 3. Vstřícný a milý majitel, 4. Personál vše vzorně uklízí, 5. Všude čisto a pořádek, 6. Klidné místo, 7. Možnost objednání taxi z a na letiště, 8. Dobrá snídaně, 9. Velmi čistý a udržovaný bazén, možnost ležet u bazénu. 10. Možnost koupit si vodu, Coca Colu ap., 11. Kvalitní klimatizace a moskytiéra, 12. Úklid každý den, vše doplňováno, 13. Příjemně velký pokoj a koupelna, 14. Dobré postele."

1. Vzdálenost od centra poněkud větší (pokud chodíte rádi, nemusí to vadit), 2. Snídaně by mohla být s určitou obměnou (nutno dodat, že jsem zde strávil týden a nevadilo mi, že je každý den stejná)

The views were absolutely beautiful and we could truly enjoy and admire them during our stay. It made the whole experience even more special. Both the dinner and the breakfast were delicious and the overall standard of the hotel was excellent. Everything was very well taken care of and we felt really comfortable throughout our stay. "Cette maison d'hôtes est charmante. J'ai été à l'aise....comme à la maison. Le jardin est paisible. J'ai apprécié le calme et le personnel qui était au petit soin. Le petit déjeuner est copieux. J'ai apprécié aussi la proposition d'un chauffeur depuis l'aéroport compris dans le tarif. Il y a un super marché à 300m bien pratique."

"A very warm and helpful host who gave us great support. My mother unfortunately injured herself while hiking and he didn't hesitate for long and applied hot compresses with salt. As she could no longer walk, he even gave her a walking frame and drove us personally to the train station on our departure. The location was great. A bit away from the busy main street and yet everything is within walking distance."

"What an AMAZING place! The cabinas are well spaced apart and feel very private all located a in stunning and vibrant location. The wildlife is right on your porch, we saw howler monkeys’s, white faced monkeys, agouti, iguanas and lots of birds. The pool is perfect for cooling off after a day exploring Montezuma. The cabins itself was very comfortable and we particularly enjoyed the hammock! It was very well kitted out with everything we needed for cooking as a family of 3 and the pre chilled bottle of water in the fridge was greatly appreciated on our arrival. Location wise it is perfectly situated only 5 min away from shops and supermarkets where you can get all you need and in the pother direction (around a 3 min drive) is Montezuma, with loads of delicious places to eat and lots of stunning places to explore. We most definitely felt at home here and didn’t want to leave"

"Wonderful to be the only guests staying in the hotel, it felt special to have a chef come in to make our meals, which were very good. We had our dog with us sge was showing in a competition on site, she was welcomed and as we were the only guests she sat in the dining room with us. She was very relaxed and the next day came 1st in her Breed. We will return for another event soon."

Perhaps the bedroom could have been warmer.

"Warm welcome from the staff, very comfortable room and home-like feeling. Designated room for smoking so we did not have to feel the smell at all. Kids loved the chess available to play."
