"Location in quiet area but still very close to the city center with many shops 24/7 nearby. Nice & comfy bedroom with AC and refrigerator- especially important in August :-). Additional benefit was the balcony, but the view was not spectacular. Breakfasts were very tasty and the view from dining room was very nice (8th floor)."

Just minor disadvantages: no power sockets available for charging in the bedroom, cash payment only. No hooks in the bathroom and towels I think shall be replaced after each 2-3 days.

"Joan and Paul were great hosts! Very lovely and provided solutions to some of the issues with facilities. The space is beautiful, it’s quiet and they have two beautiful dogs who we loved spending time with."

Some issues with power on first day then on-going with water & wifi connection - apart from this, it was a good 5 days.

it would have been nice to do a bit of tidy up ourselves but unfortunately there was no cleaning equipment on the property itself

"It was so well equipped for our family. The small pool was great for my 3 year old. We had our own private entrance, patio and outdoor sitting area. It felt safe and provided a restful place for us to call home for 5 days. Many beaches nearby, one within walking distance."

There are tons of mosquitos and tiny ants. This was observed elsewhere on the island that we stayed too and is not particular of this property. Be prepared with your own insect repellent.

I was a bit concerned about previous reviews about lack of heating and hot water but the place was warm and we didn’t need the heaters provided, shower water was hot which we needed for the long treks in the surrounding mountains. "We had a very spacious appartment. The location is amazing you can walk everywhere and start cross country skiing right at the appartment. For us it was a very nice stay and we would come again!"

Overall the appartment came into the years a little bit. Some lights were not working so well for example, the sauna was hard to get very hot and the fan in the bathroom did not work. We did not mind very much but maybe there should be some maintenance works done in the nearer future.

Es gab auch die Möglichkeit dass für uns traditionelles Essen gekocht wird, was sehr lecker war, und unsere Wäsche gewaschen wird. "We enjoyed the cute and small surrounding village and quiet environment with a stunning view of Nile river. The rooms were very clean and spacious and had all the necessary equipment and amenities. The ground staff were also very helpful. The host, Danielle was very helpful for all the questions I had before the trip and she arranged a tour for us. The guide Mohamed was also very helpful and flexible to meet our needs every day and tried to make sure we were happy with the service!"

The bed was really hard. There were just a few things that needed fixing around the place. If these were resolved I would give it 10/10.

"We had a wonderful week at Les Gites de Robinson. Communication with Carole had been excellent in the weeks prior to our holiday and when we did arrive she was so helpful and made us feel very welcome. The gite is spacious and spotlessly clean and the kitchen has all that is needed to prepare meals. The beds are very comfortable, the showers in both the modern bathrooms are excellent and, although we did not make use of it, the swimming pool is in a lovely garden setting. The gite is conveniently located in a quiet residential area, only about 300m from a well-stocked supermarket and bakery. We would absolutely recommend staying here. Thank you for having us, Carole and Gilles!"

While not the fault of the house, the Unexpected Electricity outages were inconvenient. Long terms measures could include a back up generator or battery storage. Would also be good to have toilet papers in the toilets, not everyone is a big fan of using water. I had to purchase my own toilet papers. Hot water didn't seem to work.

There were cockroaches and termites in the villa which was not nice.

"My father and I loved our night at this lodge. The yurt was large, the beds comfortable, and there were plenty of blankets to keep us warm. The site is also very nice, being surrounded by nature. The outdoor bathrooms are great too. Very clean. And what about the meals? We opted for their dinner offer, which was excellent, even if it was a bit pricey compared to what you find in local restaurants. We recommend it. There were two salads, the main course, and a small dessert. Breakfast was also delicious. The crepes, yum! We recommend staying here :)"

Not the best area in Paternoster, although to be fair within walking distance of everything, the exterior gates were hard work, they need to be fixed / maintained properly, chunky thick wine glasses not really what you want to drink quality wine out of

"Marites and Belal are excellent hosts. They made me feel welcome and appreciated. The house is situated just off Broadway with easy access to the town center, sites, and shopping. On my next trip Tinian, I will definitely check with Tinian Island Haven for availability."
