"Yes, it was a surprise to find that we had breakfast and some supplies so we didn't have to shop on the first day we arrived. also our flight from South Africa didn't arrive until quite late and our taxi was not waiting at the airport so it was very late at night before we got to Villa Mia. In spite of this our hosts were waiting to greet us on arrival, which was much appreciated."

Maybe the host could have dropped in at some time during our stay to see how we were going.

"Went with extended family and had a great time! The layout of the hotel is unusual, and that (at first) made me think that it was a bit small, but hear me out... There are two things that make this an amazing experience: 1.) The clarity of the sea water and the ease of access. 2.) The staff and management are top notch: attention to customer service is second to none in all respects: from the management to the guy taking care of the rooms. Very highly recommended."

"We arrived at the private park in the camp, then the owner of the camp received us and gave us a nice welcome. He took us to the camp and then showed us a 4-hour tour, which was beautiful. The camp was very beautiful and the food was delicious. I highly recommend it."

"Výborná lokalita, 10 minut pohodové chůze od veřejné pláže. Polovina domku se zahradou, parkováním a dostatkem soukromí, zastřešená terasa se zahradním nábytkem byla také skvělá. Velmi vstřícný přístup majitelky. Oceňuji také čistotu všech prostor."

Jedinou vadou na kráse byla absence wi-fi, kterou těžce nesly zejména děti. :-)

"Nice cabin in the jungle. The host was very supportive and waited for us in the apartment. He also gave us tips how to organise ourselfes in the village, which is a bit tricky in those closed areas in the middle of the jungle. The moskito nets where intact in Chez Faby (not in Carbet Bawouette)."

The village-wide WiFi does not work at all. There is free starlink at the grocery shop, otherwise you have no connection in the whole village. Apartment would need a thorough cleaning.

"Very nice place for family or group of friends. Very clean and enough room for everyone (no dead bugs inside the house :D) Very peaceful place, only birds singing. Nearby river was the most entertaining part for teenagers. Bottom of the river was bit rocky, but we used shoes for swimming. Would definitely recommend this place for everyone. See you next year!"

"Exceptional property has the river running through the front yard, with barbecue, hammock, swing and patio furniture. Two story house has the kitchen, bathroom and living room on the first floor, and the two bedrooms upstairs. Nice layout and fully equipped with everything you need. "L’emplacement idéal entre la Baie Orientale et Grand-Case, l’îlot Pinel en face et tout cela dans une résidence fermée et sécurisée. L’appartement est idéal pour un couple ou une personne seule. Tout ce dont on pourrait avoir besoin est à disposition."

Le seul petit hic, c’est le manque de pression d’eau pour la douche, du coup on y reste plus longtemps dessous…
