Prázdninové domy v Gambii

"The host was lovely. Arranged a time to meet and greet to show us around. Basic snacks and drinks were provided which was a nice touch. House was clean and well maintained. Towels and spare sheets provided. 2 bathrooms was great. Great washer and dryer (massive american style washer and dryer), fully kitted out kitchen and convenient parking outside property in a nice quiet neighbourhood. Property exactly as advertised. Very nice facilities. 7 minutes drive to Sheraton shopping mall though there is a 'popular' supermarket which is walking distance or 2 minutes drive. Its about 15 minutes to bridgetown or oistins which is very central and banks are close by. Host arranged a housekeeper half way through holiday at no extra charge and we even had resident monkeys greeting us every morning. Only teeny tiny thing was the middle (1of 3) bedroom had a ceiling fan rather than ac and it was hot but that was minor really."

It would be good if there could be an established recycling collection/point locally.

"It's a wonderful place to stay with a family. Close to the beach, shops, and restaurants. And at the same time, in quiet area away from railway. It is a place you feel at home, kitchen is full supplied with all utensils. The host is a nice man who will always help you and give fruit. I recommend it 100%"

"فله عبارة عن دورين. الدور الأرضي جلسة مع مشب جميل و طاولة طعام و مطبخ كامل و حمام لا يوجد شطاف الدور الثاني ثلاث غرف غرفتين سرير مزدوج و غرفه سريرين مفرد و سرير مزدوج تتسع لأكثر من ثمان أشخاص تصلح للعائلة و الشباب انصح بها جميلة و نظيفة ومريحة خاصة ان الجلسة في الدور الأرضي و غرف النوم في الدور العلوي و يوجد بالقرب منها سوبرماركت و ألعاب أطفال و إنترنت سريع انصح الخليجيين بهذه الفلة و كذلك اشكر صاحب الشقة على تعاونه و خدمته المتميزة"

"Went with extended family and had a great time! The layout of the hotel is unusual, and that (at first) made me think that it was a bit small, but hear me out... There are two things that make this an amazing experience: 1.) The clarity of the sea water and the ease of access. 2.) The staff and management are top notch: attention to customer service is second to none in all respects: from the management to the guy taking care of the rooms. Very highly recommended."

"Velice vstřícný pronajímatel, dobrá cena, perfektní domluva, rychlé reakce, příjemné jednání. Ubytování bylo celkově velice pohodové. Majitel má úžasného, přátelského, ale nevtíravého psa, jmenuje se Chardi.😉 Pokud budeme do této lokace opět cestovat, rádi zde budeme znovu bydlet, jen by jsme tentokrát zvolili domky v kopci s krásnou vyhlídkou. Pro starší a hůře pohyblivé, ale doporučujeme domky ve spodní části."

Stálo by za zvážení vyměnit matrace v ložnicích ve spodním domku. Jinak nám ubytování vyhovovalo. Pokud by jsme místo hodnotili z pohledu “horních domků”, dostalo by plný počet bodů, ale vzhledem k tomu, že jsme bydleli “dole”, je hodnocení nižší. Pro úplnou objektivitu musím napsat, že s námi byl starší člověk, proto jsme zvolili jeden ze spodních domků.

Sanitary conditions of bathroom and kitchen. It requires some innovation. No WiFi.

"What a surprisingly wonderful stay. OK, the cabin wasnt flash. It was a bit dated and worn (reminiscent of mid-20th century beach cabins), but it was spacious, comfy, everything worked, plenty of TV channels, the shower had good hot water, and the area was quiet despite being very close to the town, night market, and beaches. It was a very enjoyable and relaxing 4-day stay."

"Nice cabin in the jungle. The host was very supportive and waited for us in the apartment. He also gave us tips how to organise ourselfes in the village, which is a bit tricky in those closed areas in the middle of the jungle. The moskito nets where intact in Chez Faby (not in Carbet Bawouette)."

The village-wide WiFi does not work at all. There is free starlink at the grocery shop, otherwise you have no connection in the whole village. Apartment would need a thorough cleaning.

"Very welcoming and attentive host, great location with superb views and conviently located to visit Volcán Poás. Excellent facilities and very nice breakfast. Very good value for money."

"Krásný prostorný domek s terasou v nádherné tropické zahradě (v nabídce 2 domy - menší a větší s parkovacími místy). Plně vybaveno vč. pračky. Skvělá poloha uprostřed ostrova pro poznávání místních krás. Naprosté soukromí, dál od rušné silnice. V blízkosti obchod s potravinami. Majitelka velmi příjemná a ochotná, nosila nám exotické ovoce, které jí rostlo na pozemku."

I didn't like the front door as the wind blew through very easily.

The location, the cottage, bedrooms, washroom, kitchen, dinning area, private BBQ, deck, and private chairs by the water front! 1 min walk to Tim Hortons and Gas Station, 2 mins walk to the beach, 5 mins walk to Foodland. Samantha was very friendly. Stephen didn't say hi to us but that's okay. We will stay at this property again!"

"Boendet ligger i Regent som ligger lite högre upp i bergen jämfört med Freetown. Det gör att det är lite svalare och inte så tryckande värme som nere i stan. Det är visserligen en bit att köra om man ska in i centrum, men samtidigt är det inte så mycket bilköer som inne i stan. Värdarna tog hand om oss på ett bra sätt och huset vi hyrde hade rätt bra standard. Hög standard för att vara i Sierra Leone."

Jag har inte något som jag inte tyckte om. Möjligen att du måste ha tillgång till egen transport om du enkelt ska ta dig till och från boendet.
