"Staff were very friendly and werw available for any kind of help. Cleanliness was also good enough including bathrooms. Price was very reasonable. And the location was also on very good spot, kind of centre location to visit the important places in beirut. The highlight were the staff and their behavior. It was a pleasant experience in that hotel."

Just little bit of issue in internet but we only spent night time at the hotel so was not that much of a problem.

"The hosts are really helpful and very nice. It is so important to be able to get some help and tips, when you are travelling. What I really liked, was the breakfast, where all guests have the opportunity to meet. All of us really connected well and we had a fabulous old years eve together."

"Stayed here whilst on a cycle tour in the region, on advice of a friend who lives in Bangkok and had stayed here previously. I was not disappointed. Absolutely charming traditional property on the river and run by a couple that clearly take pride in providing hospitality. I loved it here. Having stayed in everything from backpacker places to 5* hotels, this stay will be remembered fondly for a long time. An excellent evening meal was also provided at a fair price (I gave advance warning I'd need to eat when I booked). Highly recommended."

"One of the best places we have ever stayed; we really did not want to leave. Super high quality apartment and very comfortable. Well equipped for a holiday stay (but no oven). Lovely views across the mountains and also down to the lake. Easy walk down to the lake with a nice hotel/restaurant and even a small supermarket at the bottom of the road. About another 20 minutes into the town itself, along the footpath. So great location; peaceful and quiet without the Bled town crowds and traffic."

The hot water system will drive you mad - if, like us, you were brought up not to waste water! And bring your own shower gel etc.

"Monica and Nobert are amazing hosts. They are always there to help you. They know a lot about the area and the country so their advices are always welcomed. They are really nice to talk to and share a meal with. They have 2 nice kids. Like Monica told me, « they are a home, not an hotel » and it’s way better that way! :) The room was clean and confortable. The included breakfast was really delicious and huge and it changed every day. They offer to cook for you if you want to eat dinner with them which is really great. They offer a twin lakes tour which was amazing with a lot of informations."

The bathroom is a little small and it’s cold water, but you can get a bucket of hot water so it’s ok. It’s not so close to city center, but moto are easy to find to get there, or walk for a bit is possible.

The only thing that slightly annoyed me on arrival was that there wasn’t an electrical socket right next to the bed, even though it did say that on the booking site. But that’s a small thing.

The kettle was not in the room, and the mattress was a bit too hard for one of us.

"Malaki and his family were great hosts! Very helpful and friendly. Sorted out lots of things for us with no fuss, even though we booked last minute and had limited planning. We had some good laughs! Good view of volcano, and hear the rumbling! Simple and authentic ni-Van accommodation."

Malaki still had a few things to finish... eg switching for solar lights and some plumbing... but we were 2nd guests, so it will be more complete for next guests

"Mama MIREKA highly recommend. She is such a beautiful host. House is immaculate yards are very tidy. Absolutely enjoyed our stay. loved listening to her speak of her children. the love in her eye's that that shows for her children and moko's that live in Aotearoa when speaking of them. As well as her belated husband. Thank you so much for everything and opening up your home and making us feel like family I will always remember the aroha that you have shown us whilst our visit to Rarotonga. I wish you nothing but the best. I hope anyone that books your house respects and appreciates you and your beautiful whare/ house that you work hard to maintain. "Beautiful villa on countryside. Jerry is excellent host he is very generous and try to help with all guest needs. Not to forget co-host Sam he can bring you from the airport and take you anywhere around the island. Excellent service. House is well equipped and has it all. Room was specious and modern. Separate room where you can wash your clothes. About 25 mins walk to Dickenson bay/beach and 10 mins walk to closest supermarket. Highly recommended to stay especially for solo travelers"

"The property is in a great location, close to all different kinds of food and walkable to the waterfront. Everything is very clean, quiet and comfortable. The host is lovely and friendly, making us feel very welcome. Facilities are great, and there is a washing machine you can use free of charge. Aircon works well."
