Hotely v Jižní Africe

"An absolutely phenomenal experience that went far beyond a normal hotel stay. I cannot praise this hotel enough, and most importantly, I cannot thank the hotel manager, Mr. Nurlan, enough for what he did for us. Mr. Nurlan was incredibly supportive and helpful in every possible way — not only inside the hotel, but even outside the hotel, assisting us with arrangements, guidance, and personal support that went far beyond his duties. His dedication, generosity, and genuine care are truly rare to find. Thanks to him, our stay was smooth, comfortable, and unforgettable. He turned our visit to Gabala into a perfect experience and set a new standard for what true hospitality means. This hotel is outstanding, but Mr. Nurlan is its greatest asset. "This is such a unique property and what an experience to stay in a Troglodyte home. We were welcomed warmly and thoroughly enjoyed sleeping in the cave like rooms, that were so spacious too. Dinner is available at the guesthouse for a reasonable price considering how much food they gave us too."

The showers in the bathrooms have zero water pressure, it was just a trickle of water unfortunately.

"Nový moderní hotel s prvotřídním vybavením a designovými detaily. Prostorné a světlé pokoje, pohodlná velká postel/matrace, vstřícně velká koupelna se sprchovým koutem a vyhřívanou toaletou. Velmi pohodlné bydlení, ve kterém vám vůbec nevadí trávit deštivé dny. Ochota a vstřícnost personálu byla ohromující, snídaně v západním i asijském stylu neměli chybu. Dobře vybavená posilovna s klimatizací a s terasou pro venkovní cvičení. Masážní salon jsme nevyzkoušeli, ale věřím ve stejnou kvalitu v jaké je zbytek hotelových prostor (dvě velké venkovní terasy, mělký infinity bazén, bar ve druhém patře). Krásně zvolené místo pro klidný oddech a relaxační dovolenou."

Jídlo v restauraci je skvělé, ale připravte se na vyšší ceny. Pokud se vedĺe vás ubytuje rodina s hlučnými dětmi, tak je bohužel uslyšíte. Hotel je v odlehlejší části jednoho z ostrovů, mimo nejrušnější Koror (s přístavem), proto je potřeba počítat s dojížděním autem (taxi, pronajaté) cca 30min.

"The family room was small, but had everything you need. The breakfast was delicious and the drink prices were reasonable. The best choice in the area. Evening village life is a separate show, unfortunately we couldn't find any entertainment nearby. And the wealthier residents instead gathered at our place of stay."

The first night we had trouble sleeping because at 3AM all the villagers started making noise (roosters, dogs, cats, turkeys, goats, sheep) but by the second and third we were already used to the village sounds.

staff refused to arrange the car with a driver to the border with Angola, even if I'm agree for the proposed price. Why ?

"Great location, we had a view at the Sisimiut museum. The restaurant staff were very flexible and helpful, they assembled a vegan meal for us, even though there was none in the menu."

the shower needs to be updated it was not a good quality either from the hand held shower or the overhead one and the rooms by the road are noisy even though they said they are insulated, they are not and you can hear the cars very well

"The people from the front desk are amazing, really helpful. They gave us towels for the beach, and beach chairs. They made our stay way better, including after checkout. The hotel has an almost private beach where they also gave us a beach umbrella, it was a paradise, all for us (we even saw manta rays). The location is perfect. Not far from the ferry, not far to nice beaches, not far from places to eat. The hotel is clean, nice rooms, nice bathrooms, they gave us complimentary waters and coffee in the room. Also, the hotel has a bar and a restaurant. At night it solved us having there something to eat having been all day out."

Everything in Turks and Caicos is expensive, and in North/Middle Caicos even more (that’s not the hotel). The restaurant of the hotel was good but expensive. It is a good alternative, even more if you don’t want to grab the car again, but I would check the prices before seating to see if they are ok for you.

"The staff at the hotel was very friendly. After checking my ID and hotel reservation, he quickly helped me complete the check-in process. The whole thing took about 10 minutes."

There was some water on the bathroom floor, which I guess was caused by a leaking pipe. It did affect the overall experience a bit.

La chambre était trop petite pour un couple.

Lot of stairs to bring down the luggage and carry it back. The train track adjoining the hotel is very annoying and extremely noisy when the train passes through.

"Another comfortable stay at the Gold. Great room overlooking the town and tower. Perfect location and the restaurant food is lovely and reasonably priced. If you want to eat out, Rynek42 and Nomo in town are great places, and the Kebab Inn just a few hundred metres up the road is a great takeaway."
