"Was really social which was great as I was solo travelling. Staff were helpful."

No curtains on the bed. I also was charged twice for my stay here a long time after I left which was disappointing to see but I did get refunded.

The tap at the kitchen is likking while open. Somw floor tales must be fixed. One of the light bulbs needs replacement.

"Great helpful staff, freshly cleaned room. I arrived earlier than planned and they quickly swept and mopped the room and made up my bed while I waited. Super central location. Showers were hot. Got given a roll of toilet paper on check in which seems like a great solution to previous negative reviews saying toilet paper ran out and wasn't topped up. Great value for money"

There was no common area to hang out in like a lounge or courtyard or kitchen, but even still I made new friends just in my dorm room, in the corridor and in the bathroom while brushing my teeth. Probably not ideal for light sleepers as there is a karaoke bar nearby but I really enjoyed being able to hear all the singing!

"The hostel was run by a really lovely woman and her daughter who were so kind and friendly - they made our stay. The hostel was relaxed and had a good kitchen and areas to relax. The rooms are simple but comfortable."

"Had a comfortable stay here for 1 night layover, Dany was a great host. I enjoyed visiting the night market nearby where you get to see a slice of local life. The dorm room is quite basic but great for the price, and bathroom facilities were clean."

"This place is simply fabulous - clean, quiet, cozy, everything works, in a great location near night market, mall, fast food etc, easily reachable by bus, yet, some rooms face forest. It's self check-in, all information is provided timely and clearly, communication is brilliant and any questions promptly answered. One of the best place to stay ever."

There is nothing not to like. But, as you need a code to enter your room, its probably not a good idea to rush to the toilet in the middle of the night, and forgetting phone with the code in the room 😊 (didn't happen, but could 🤣). Love it here...

"Blízko centra, pouze 15 minut chůze. Pokoj byl malý, ale naprosto dostačující. Je možnost objednat snídaně do balicku za 19 zlotých. Letiště kousek, při brzkém ranní odletu není problém objednat taxi."

"It's a cozy hostel with a nice common area, warm shower, enough space everywhere, a small breakfast included, in a nice neighbourhood more relaxed than Old Dhaka, and reasonably close to the metro into the city centre (walkable, or take a rickshaw). It's also close enough to the airport and railway station (by tuktuk or Uber). It has nice restaurants nearby, coffee places and Western fastfood options if you're into that. It is well worth the price of a bed, and probably the only good option in the country if you are a solo traveler/backpacker and you want to meet other travelers. Armin, who manages the Hostel, is a friendly, easy-going guy, and helpful."

The mattresses are a little thin, but to be honest, that was the case in most places in Bangladesh. Don't expect the Hilton when it comes to cleanliness, and you'll be fine.

Strmá příchodová cesta.

"Ubytování je přímo v historickém centru. Vše bylo čisté a udržované. Na pokoji je klimatizace. Paní na recepci byla milá a nápomocná, bezproblémová komunikace v angličtině. V ubytování je malý jídelní koutek v mezipatře s mikrovlnnou troubou a varnou konvicí. Úžasná je střešní terasa s posezením, odkud je krásný výhled na střechy starého města a kostel Sv. Františka. Dá se tam krásně večeřet i snídat."

Pokoj je pro 4 lidi hodně malý. Nelze parkovat poblíž, je potřeba autem odjet do přilehlých ulic nebo 10 minut chůze daleko na neplacené parkoviště. Hned vedle hotelu je klub, kde ještě po třetí hodině ráno probíhala párty. Je tedy potřeba počítat s hlukem, ale to se v centru dá očekávat.

"The atmosphere is very welcoming, homely, laidback. The staff are both locals and volunteers and this mix creates a great atmosphere. The friday braais are great for meeting people and can be a good pre-drinks for going out. Next to that it isn't a massive party hostel, which is a good thing to me. It's social, and many drinks are done in the evening in the common area, but when you go to sleep it has mostly quieted down. People that want to party further go out to the city at that point. There aren't that many other activities, but people organize it through the hostel whatsapp. Sometimes they do a volley session on the beach or volunteers might initiate something like Laura starting her Thursdays morning workout! Also, they are very relaxed in letting us borrow some coolers from the kitchen to go to the beach or a weekend festival even."

I would love it if the volley would become a weekly scheduled thing too. That on Wednesday / Tuesday and the braai on Fridays would be the perfect amount of planned activities combined with spontaneous stuff that's planned through whatsapp.

"I loved the northern 12 day tour and the Gobi and hot springs 12 day tour. Both took me to beautiful locations. If you don't mind not showering for a few days but getting to more remote locations and meeting the local nomadic people- these tours are for you. I travelled with two other tourists, plus our English speaking guide and driver. My guide Riya was so cheerful and thoughtful, and a wonderful cook. She cared for us, like we were cherished family. The driver navigated hours of driving across the steppe with no assistance from Google, he just knows the countryside- incredibly skilled. I will be recommending Sunpath to anyone I meet who is going to Mongolia. Thank you Sunpath team, and Doljmaa you are an incredible business woman, so organised and thoughtful."

"A short stroll from the main drag and market, but without the noise.A fully equipped kitchen, a shady garden, plenty of toilets and showers hot aswell, in the dormitory section,all kept clean throughout day, for breakfast i recommend you go to Kumba Lodge, turn left and walk along the beach for 15 minutes, youll see it up on the ridge, dont forget to take sandals as the sand maybe too hot to walk on coming back.Nice secluded back garden.You can walk to Barra, by turning left, walk atound the headland, places yo eat and drink there, anout 8kms one way, take plenty of water."

"The location is a bit remote from the city of Lugano, but the views are wonderful and it's surrounded by nature. The house itself is very cozy, welcoming and well maintained."

Wifi was very poor both in the living room and the private bedroom. I struggled connecting for work. I can't say that this was good value for money considering how far it was from Lugano city centre and all other activity spots. I didn't have breakfast, because it was another 20 francs on top of everything else and that wasn't really ideal for someone travelling on a budget.

Pro všechny hosty je k dispozici pouze jedna koupelna s jednou toaletou, jednou vanou a umyvadlem. Koupelna by potřebovala lehce opravit (opadané dlaždice, rozbité prkénko). Povlečení bylo lehce cítit po potu/zatuchlině.
