"If you're visiting Malta this is an excellent place to stay. Sliema itself is a bustling harbour town with plenty bars, cafes, shops within ten minutes walk of hotel. Also within ten minutes walk is the harbour where you can book boat trips to Gozo and blue lagoon, and get a ferry to Valetta which takes ten minutes in itself (or around 8 euros in a Bolt) if you book a boat trip through Viator make sure this pickup point in Sliema is your closest one on Google maps. It'll be much more convenient. Facilities basic but clean and comfortable. Free bottled water at reception and coffee machine at reception. Some toilets aren't in the bedrooms but are very close and robes etc are provided. Would recommend."

Only thing is the busy road lots of noisy bikes so take some silicone ear plugs for at night if you're a sensitive sleeper. Although I slept okay most nights, and this will affect most hotels in the area.

While my stay at T.A.B hotel was overwhelmingly positive, there was one aspect that fell slightly short of my expectations. The hotel does not offer dining service. Luckily, there are many food options just downstairs, from street food to restaurants. Some restaurants even open until midnight. Nonetheless, this minor inconvenience did not overshadow the overall positive impression I had of the hotel.

"Za nás je to místo pěkné. Hned kousek od místních trhů a zajímavostí. Na recepci Vám dají vodu, místní není pitná. Recepce je hezká, pokoje také. Vybavení pokojů je OK."

Jako já jsem nepochopil systém zavírání a zamykání. Nějaká petlice na vchodových dveřích, ale ty jsou neustále otevřené, přístupné. No jako nevím, necítil jsem se úplně OK. Chtěli jsme nechat dětem otevřené pokoje a přeci jen my evropani nejsme zvyklí na to, že je všude volný přístup, zejména z venku. Katastrofální WIFI. Něco tak pomalého jsem dlouho nezažil. Nahrát fotky na google nereálné ani přes noc. Pouštění čehokoliv z netu to stejné. Na recepci ovšem vše funkční. Tzn. problém je jen ve vedlejším domě, asi omezení, proč kudla?

"Místo prakticky “uprostřed ničeho” ale zároveň kousek od centra dění- v pozitivním slova smyslu. Ubytování v iglú nám přišlo skvělé (vyzkoušíme příště, okolí se nám moc líbilo!), my potřebovali po dlouhé cestě jen přespat jednu noc, takže jsme se ubytovali ve vedlejší budově v takovém motel stylu. Parkování přímo před naším vchodem. Pokoj malinký, ale bohatě dostačující, výhled na jezero. Vyspali jsme se krásně. Možnost využít saunu (my jsme nestíhali, takže taky příště). Majitel velmi milý, recepční také (velmi usměvavá a moc příjemná), prostě takové rodinné, domácí prostředí, nečekejte moderní luxus, ale takovou severskou autenticitu, v zimě musí být o to báječnější. Spokojenost."

"Renate is a perfect and really nice person. She was really kind and helpful and the breakfast was absolutely perfect too. The Alpe-Adria Trail is goes exactly in front of the door."

There wasn't anything. Not a new pansio but it is absolutely perfect.

"Our booking was made very late and despite this we were so warmly welcomed. There was beautiful Cape Verdean music being played when we arrived by two incredible musicians which was lovely. And the breakfast in the morning was delicious. The fresh mango juice was particularly mouthwatering!"

As I enter the room, there is a strong smell of smoke. They need to ensure that the room is properly ventilated so that the smoke odour doesn't linger. Additionally, they don't provide soap or shampoo in the bathroom. It can also be quite exhausting to stay in a hotel with steep stairs and no elevator.

It's a bit far from the beach and from the parties at night (but at least you can explore the whole village)

The electrical shower.

"Awesome host. I couldn’t believe the photos from the previous reviews but it’s true, all the photos you see are truly about a 10 step walk from the bedrooms. Simple, but incredible place to stay. The host will make sure you’re well looked after, help you with the tours/ self guided tours nearby and is very helpful with transport knowledge. We loved this place! I will say, if you’re vegan or veggie it’s hard to find food nearby, so maybe ask the host in advance if you can cook some simple food. They let us cook noodles ❤️❤️"

"Ubytování bylo moc fajn. Pokoj byl prostorný a čistý, personál nadmíru nápomocný a velmi milý. Velkým plusem bylo také příjemné wellness, kde jsme si skvěle odpočinuli. Největší výhodou pro nás ale byla možnost ubytování s pejskem, což opravdu oceňujeme. Rádi se sem znovu vrátíme."

Jedinou drobnou nevýhodou je, že do okolí se musí jít po silnici, takže na procházky je praktičtější využít auto.

"Naprosto v centru na samém nábřeží, skvělý výhled, ovšem trochu hlučný díky venkovní klimatizaci. Malý, ale čistý pokoj, ochotný personál."
