Tato historická budova v arabském stylu se nachází ve městě Lamu zapsaném na seznamu UNESCO. Nachází se méně než 300 metrů od pobřeží a 3 km od bílé písečné pláže. "My room was lovely but someone who is very sensitive to heat may prefer to request a room on the shadier side of the house. Great location in the heart of the old town but beware that this means you will hear the call to prayer emanating from nearby mosques- ear plugs may help!"

"Absolutely wonderful staff, great food, and beautiful house and decor. Great vibe, and nice people coming in during the day for tea, lounging, or eating a bite. I loved staying in Lamu Town for a few days (I have stayed in Shela too) — it's lively, and I think it's more special to be among locals, especially coming to Lamu for the first time."
