"The place is owned by an older couple and they are lovely. Safety is really important to them and they make you feel like it's home. The location is central to everything and easy access to the beach and food. Quite reasonably priced. Ended up staying an extra day as well. Definitely recommend."

"Dřevěné chatky kousek od Sinharaja rain forest mají základní vybavení, nicméně na jednu noc naprosto dostačující. V chatce bylo čisto, klimatizace i moskytiéra. Majitel i jeho rodina naprosto skvělí, dopředu jsme se s ním domluvili na večeři ( v okolí možnosti nejsou), která byla výborná. Snídaně taky. Zajistil nám tour po Sinharaja Rain forest s guidem, který měl pro nás i návleky na nohy proti pijavicím. Po návratu nám připravil i oběd. K ubytování se momentálně dá dojet pouze tuktukem ale majitel vše zařídí a ve všem maximálně vyjde vstříc. Byl to super zážitek určitě doporučuji."

"The house is located on a hill, offering a beautiful sea view. The road to the house is challenging for cars, so we were very grateful to the host for arranging tuk-tuk rides to pick us up and drop us off, as well as helping us book a whale-watching package. The people here are very friendly, including the neighbors, restaurant staff, and the children at the nearby secret beach. By the way, staying here allows you to see many peacocks and monkeys up close. One clever monkey even sneaked in and stole our mangoes and bananas—a truly unforgettable memory."

"We had a massive room with an excellent view overlooking the lake at the centre of Kandy. There was a good swimming pool on the roof, and a good breakfast. We had a short tuk tuk ride down the hill to the historic centre of Kandy. Helpful staff, good atmosphere."

"Honestly I never felt so welcome and so taken care of. This is exceptional place in many ways. The location itself is mesmerizing. The look of the lake, sunsets are very relaxing and soothing. Just what I needed. Calm and refreshing. The house is a well built solid home. People live there and you feel like part of their family. Very comfortable beds. All clean and there is a lot of air and space. Food is marvelous. You can’t have it any better seriously. They even grow organic vegetables right there and serve them to people. But the people there is what matters most. They go way beyond their normal tasks. Way beyond in their hospitality. The manager Jayantha made all my wishes come true. Ordered a tea factory tour for me even on Sunday. Booked a very comfortable car with driver. He was very polite and a took care of each detail. I will miss our evening talks."

"A wonderful room with a view of the Nine Arches Bridge, just a couple of minutes’ walk to the bridge itself. An excellent breakfast is served on the terrace overlooking the bridge, making the experience even more special. The staff is very helpful — also arranged a transfer for us. The room is comfortable with a fresh renovation, and overall everything was great."
