"It was a quiet place, wich was especially good since i did not know there was a festival, a perehera going on. And the festivities made a lot of noise in the center, but this was calm a little outside the main street and still close to the beach."
"the only thing i can think of was that i was early out of bed and had to wait a little for breakfast. but i think that also had to do with the festival. it was difficult for them to find bread."
"Beautiful house with very friendly and kind owners. Also a very good location off the main road so it's peaceful at night but only a 5 min walk to the beach. Great outdoor space on the balcony so you can work if you need to. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to come back."
"We thought we had paid for Aircon on booking.com. but it turned out to be extra. I think this is because of the current energy crisis and is completely understandable. Still great value for money."
"If you are looking for a place to stay in Unawatuna, this hotel is well placed, very near (walking distance) from the beach and everything in town but sufficiently far from the hustle and bustle of the town as to be quiet. They have a nice restaurant and the family that runs it is very friendly and welcoming."

"Мы довольны проживанием, получили то, на что рассчитывали. Что понравилось: 1. Локация - очень близко к морю и к туристической улице, но тихо. 2. Животный мир вокруг - семья черных ласковых обезьян живёт на дереве этой виллы, под лестницей живет краб, вокруг на ветках сидят хамелеоны, летают маленькие птицы “Honey birds”. 3. Номера хорошие - ровно как на фото. 4. Завтраки довольно вкусные, дешевле чем в кафе вокруг. 5. Приветливые хозяин и хозяйка. В целом впечатление положительное."
"Что не понравилось: 1. Арендовали байк днем. Он часто ломался по пути. А вечером нас попросили вернуть ключи, так как аренда только на световой день, а не на сутки. Мы не ожидали, что аренда не на сутки."
"Piękne i wspaniałe miejsce w środku Unawatuny, uroczej miejscowości nadmorskiej. Nasz apartament znajdował się na samej górze, mieliśmy piękny widok z okna na dżunglę, palmy i dużo zieleni. Okolica jest spokojna w tym miejscu. Przed pokojem znajduje się duży wspólny taras w którym można sobie odpoczywać. Jest również świetnie wyposażona kuchnia, co jest bardzo dużym plusem. Blisko do plaży, wielu restauracji i kawiarnii. Wypożyczyliśmy również u właścicieli skuter w super cenie. Bardzo polecamy!"

"Ubytování bylo velice příjemné. Pan hostilel se staral večer o zábavu a při výborné večeři nám hrál na bubny. Vzal nás na procházku po okolí. Zařídil nám Jeep do safari , o nic jsme se nemuseli starat. Možnost půjčení skútra. Na to že jsme byli ve stanu, cítila jsem se jako kdybych byla v chatce. Jestli pojedu ještě někdy do Yala safari, ubytuji se určitě tady."

"We had such a good, memorable time here. Taken very well care of by Manju (the owner), we enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the wild, off the beaten track, with beautiful nature all around us. The food was delicious and filling, vegetarian and vegan diets catered for completely. They lit us a fire one night and we enjoyed dinners by candlelight every night. The beds were super comfy and the large hut that we stayed in was very spacious - good for all bags and clothes. Manju organised our safari day and our trip to a local beach. He was ready to meet our every need and was very kind and friendly with our children too."

Our half day (evening) Safari guided by Nikki was great and we noted that most other vehicles in block A didn’t have a guide and hence struggled to spot wildlife. Some food was very good - especially the curries at lunch. We loved the set up for the dinner by the bonfire. Rooms were cleaned thoroughly."

"Very large spacious room, surrounded by nature. We even had birds with chicks nesting in our ceiling lampshade which was so cute. Our private pool was clean and the perfect spot to chill out after a long day of animal-spotting on safari. We saw leopards, a sloth bear, elephants, crocs - was brilliant!"
