"The view was stunning. The tidal pool was awesome! Swimming with a dozen different varieties of fish was amazing. Breakfast was good. We ate most meals there. It wasn't the most economical option but the food was good and very convenient as there wasn't many cheaper options nearby. The A/C worked really well as did the showers."

"The breakfast was included in our stay. However, one morning we had to leave early for whale watching, so we requested a packed breakfast. On returning earlier than expected, we handed back the packed breakfast untouched and requested a fresh breakfast instead. Unfortunately, our request was denied. I believe this was a very minor issue that could have been easily managed by the hotel’s staff or management with a little flexibility. Later, when we offered to pay for a fresh breakfast, we were again refused, with the reason that breakfast hours were over — even though, in reality, the serving time had not yet ended. This small instance of rigidity in service left a slightly disappointing impression, as everything else about our stay was otherwise pleasant."

"The management and front desk staff seemed a bit rigid at times and were not very helpful in handling small requests, such as the breakfast situation we faced. A little flexibility and guest consideration would make the experience even better. Otherwise, it’s an excellent property — comfortable, clean, and a wonderful place to stay overall."

"The breakfast was a bit boring—we noticed that Sri Lankan breakfast options were available for locals but were not offered to us. If possible, we recommend choosing the Sri Lankan breakfast instead We would have appreciated having the towels changed during our 3-night stay, and it would have been more convenient if coffee and water were refilled without having to ask each time. One thing that really saddened me, though, was witnessing a staff member trying to chase away a stray dog by throwing a stone at it. We believe animals should be treated with kindness, and this experience left a negative impression."
