"The family was very welcoming and kind. They also rented a scooter to me, for a fair price. When I later asked if I could get a surfboard rack, he managed to fit one for me within a short time. Very helpful. The location is a little out of the city but therefore relatively calm and close to nice beach bars and restaurants."

"Comfortable room, very friendly owners, and the option to order tea/coffee. Very close to the bus stop (just behind the gate), and even though it’s on the main road, it wasn’t noisy at all. Clean, tidy, highly recommend! And very close to the beach!"

"We stayed at Mango Villa 703 for just one night, but we were very satisfied. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable, and everything matched the photos. The location is quiet, yet close to the beach and restaurants. What we especially appreciated was the host’s attitude. He was very helpful and assisted us with everything we needed, even beyond his responsibilities. Such kindness is rare to find! If you’re looking for simple but pleasant accommodation with great service, we definitely recommend this place."

"I stayed in this villa on my second visit to hikkaduwa. Then I decided to extend my stay for another night. Feel free to ask the family if you need assistance. They are very helpful. It's true place don't have AC in the room I stayed at, but at night, it gets quite cold, so there is no need for AC. For that price, it's definitely worth it."

"Ubytování bylo velice příjemné. Pan hostilel se staral večer o zábavu a při výborné večeři nám hrál na bubny. Vzal nás na procházku po okolí. Zařídil nám Jeep do safari , o nic jsme se nemuseli starat. Možnost půjčení skútra. Na to že jsme byli ve stanu, cítila jsem se jako kdybych byla v chatce. Jestli pojedu ještě někdy do Yala safari, ubytuji se určitě tady."

"We had such a good, memorable time here. Taken very well care of by Manju (the owner), we enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the wild, off the beaten track, with beautiful nature all around us. The food was delicious and filling, vegetarian and vegan diets catered for completely. They lit us a fire one night and we enjoyed dinners by candlelight every night. The beds were super comfy and the large hut that we stayed in was very spacious - good for all bags and clothes. Manju organised our safari day and our trip to a local beach. He was ready to meet our every need and was very kind and friendly with our children too."
