"I was booking a room at very short notice and was about to pay for an overpriced hotel, when the reviews for Ranjiths guest house caught my attention. Honestly the nicest people you will ever meet, accommodation anything I needed, dropping me off places free of charge and all from the kindness of their heart. The reviews say it all, wonderful people and great value for money."

"This was very calm and peaceful place, not in the middle of the noice but still close to everything. The owner are very friendly and kind people who were always willing to help. We also did a cooking class and this was brilliant. The room is simple and quite small but for the price is absolutely fine. There was also hot water in the shower. The breakfast was also good and enough for us."

"Sanjee and Ranjith were lovely hosts. Sanjee took such excellent care of us, making a lovely breakfast and also preparing a takeaway breakfast when we had to leave early for the airport. Nothing seemed too much trouble for her and she was helpful and kind. Ranjith was very helpful and kindly took us to coconut hill in his tuktuk. The stay was peaceful and comfortable. Thank you so much."

"The two welcoming hosts surprised me with their friendly and attentive manner. They were very helpful. I was driven to yoga class every day by tuk-tuk. If I had any questions, they did their best. "Ranjith and his wife Sanjee were the friendliest hosts. We booked it last minute and arrived very late yet Ranjith met us and gave us some welcome hot tea. Sanjee asked us personally what we would like for breakfast and made a delicious one. They are both just very very sweet and kind people that would help you with everything. They really do their best to make you feel at home. We asked if we could keep our medicine in their fridge and it wasn't a problem for them at all. They also can give you some useful advice about where to go and what to see in Mirissa or nearby. So if you are an open person looking for a stay with a nice family, this is a great option."

"Ranjith and Sanjee are the loveliest people and they will do anything to make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. We could ask anything and they tries to solve it, even if we had a special request about driving a tuktuk;-). Sanjee is a great cook and would definitely eat here instead of in the overcrowded town. And Ranjith will drive you anywhere for very reasonable prices if he has the time! We were sad to leave and would really recommend staying here!!"

"Ubytování bylo velice příjemné. Pan hostilel se staral večer o zábavu a při výborné večeři nám hrál na bubny. Vzal nás na procházku po okolí. Zařídil nám Jeep do safari , o nic jsme se nemuseli starat. Možnost půjčení skútra. Na to že jsme byli ve stanu, cítila jsem se jako kdybych byla v chatce. Jestli pojedu ještě někdy do Yala safari, ubytuji se určitě tady."

"We had such a good, memorable time here. Taken very well care of by Manju (the owner), we enjoyed a very comfortable stay in the wild, off the beaten track, with beautiful nature all around us. The food was delicious and filling, vegetarian and vegan diets catered for completely. They lit us a fire one night and we enjoyed dinners by candlelight every night. The beds were super comfy and the large hut that we stayed in was very spacious - good for all bags and clothes. Manju organised our safari day and our trip to a local beach. He was ready to meet our every need and was very kind and friendly with our children too."

Our half day (evening) Safari guided by Nikki was great and we noted that most other vehicles in block A didn’t have a guide and hence struggled to spot wildlife. Some food was very good - especially the curries at lunch. We loved the set up for the dinner by the bonfire. Rooms were cleaned thoroughly."

"Very large spacious room, surrounded by nature. We even had birds with chicks nesting in our ceiling lampshade which was so cute. Our private pool was clean and the perfect spot to chill out after a long day of animal-spotting on safari. We saw leopards, a sloth bear, elephants, crocs - was brilliant!"
