"We were just traveling through coming from Cape Kolka going to Riga. There is really not that much on the way so Roja seemed a good choice. The hotel provides for everything, good accommodation for a night. There is also a small supermarket right across the street. And the owner was very friendly."
"We were on the top floor, so the two windows in our room were both skylights and too high up to reach. In order for us to get it dark inside the room when we wanted to sleep, we had to use some sort of pole for grabbing the blinds and pulling them down. That turned out to be an almost impossible task, the device did not hold on very well to the slim handle on the blinds, it kept slipping off and hitting the window with a loud clunk. We tried multiple times but didn’t wanna break anything so in the end we had to sleep with the blinds up, which was very light and did not make for a good night’s sleep."

"Comfortable, good sized room, excellent bed, clean and warm. As for the village itself - small and pristine, nice beach. It is a good location if you want to explore Livonian coast."

"Very modern, quiet and clean room with nice balcony and beautuful spacious bathroom. Perfect for a couple day stay. While checking out the guests get nice handmade souvenir that symbolizes Roja. Location is very comfortable, close to local small shops (just opposite the hotel), relatively close to the beach and local restaurants. Free parking."

"The room we stayed was exceptional, the location is perfect, but the best of all was the staff! Not to often we are hosted so welcoming as in this place. After checkout the host give us nice local souvenir, a lovely fridge magnet from Roja! We loved it!"

"Excellent location. Very well equipped. Nice, large bathroom. And we were greeted with champagne! In addition, the host is very responsive and quick to get in touch. Great place for up to 3 people! There were four of us and we stayed there for over a week, most nights just two or three of us slept there. The couple nights though, when all four of us slept in the accommodation, became very cramped, but the host warned us about it, although a few nights are not a big problem. In any case, I would not recommend to take this apartment longer for a night or two, if you are 4 people, and all of you plan to actually sleep there, and good night sleep is what you are seeking for - otherwise - one of the finest choices to explore Valmiera to the fullest! :)"

"I loved everything about this place, location is perfect, if you're traveling by train or autobus 10-15 mins walk maximum. You don't have to worry about groceries, small mini-mart is 3 mins walk away with everything you may need, If you arrive late and the mini mart is closed,you can always grab something to eat at Circle-K gas station open 24hrs. If your stay is short and you want to explore Valmiera, you may have to come again, because once you enter the apartment, you won't want to go outside. It's so nice and cozy and equipped with everything. On my stay I didn't go outside once. I highly recommend this place."
