"Location was very convenient to UPR, where I was participating in a workshop. Friendly, helpful staff. The surrounding neighborhood has seen better days but is trying to come back. During the day it has a lot of charm and local flavor. Some good restaurants and cafes. This isn't fancy, at-the-beach San Juan, but rather a genuine local neighborhood."
"Some interior issues: Stairwell from ground level to first floor needs railings that go all the way up -- it's a safety problem. Hot water was in short supply in the mornings. No outdoor lighting on one 2nd floor wing is also a safety issue. I could not reach staff with posted phone numbers."
