"We loved the place. The road to get there is uphill and, without a car, can be difficult, but once you arrive, you'll find yourself in a peaceful place. The owner was extremely welcoming, as were the two young men who helped us. The room was spacious and spotless, with a fully equipped kitchenette. We loved the large balcony, which we used for our aperitifs. A relaxing place. We highly recommend it."

"Apartment is nice and clean with a superb balcony from which you see lots of green, feed birds and watch bats flying over a forest at night. The staff is super friendly with a positive vibe and very helpful, they great you with most honest warmth and kindness. Location is uphill, we were traveling by bus and didn't mind a bit of a walk (we travel with backpacks only). Good location to go for Anse Major trail and Beau Vallon Beach. We went also on Morne peak (buses 21 and 14)."

"The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable. The balcony was the star of the show, offering relaxation with a beautiful view of bats, palm trees, geckos, and numerous birds. Forest lodge is around a 15 minute walk from Beau Vallon beach, but the peaceful and beautiful location make it worth it!"

"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Forest Lodge. Stephen was able to accommodate my request for an early check in and also helped arrange a pick up from the airport. Both him and Alam were friendly and welcoming. The property is located a short (but generally uphill) walk away from the main road and a bus stop, but for me, even though I didn't drive, it was very manageable, and I enjoyed the relative peace and quiet, as well as the opportunity to observe nature (e.g bulbuls and flying foxes) from my balcony, while also enjoying the convenience of easy access to the bus to town / Beau Vallon (you can walk there as well in maybe 15-20 min). The room itself is very spacious for a solo traveller, and the balcony was very roomy as well."

"Stephen the owner is a great host. The staff were exceptional. A huge thank you to Alum and Suzon. They would have cleaned my room everyday if I allowed it. They were always friendly, helpful and generous. The photos do not do any justice, the rooms are better and cleaner than they look. WiFi was very good and location 20min walk to the beach. The area felt safe. As a woman this was important as I walked around a lot by myself."
