This hostel is set in a 19th-century building, 500 metres from Stockholm Central Station and 5 minutes’ walk from Drottninggatan shopping street. WiFi internet, evening sauna and pasta are free. Ice skates can be borrowed for free during winter. All rooms at City Backpackers Hostel have air conditioning and heating. Lockers are available and padlocks can be bought in the reception. Snacks and drinks are available in the reception throughout the day. For self-caterers, there is a fully equipped kitchen with microwaves and refrigerators. Guests can also enjoy a meal or drink in the jídelní prostor Nomad, located next to the hostel. The lounge offers Mac and PC computers with free internet access, TV with cable channels and Swedish movie nights. There is also a library with magazines and a book exchange. During summer, the beautiful open courtyard is furnished with tables and chairs

"Všude bylo neustále čisto a atmosféra hostelu byla velmi příjemná. Check in proběhl on-line a checkout nebyl třeba, takže ideální prostředí i pro introverty."

"everything was super clean, the facilities were great, and there were plenty of sinks and bathrooms so you never had to wait for ages to get ready. the fact there is a sauna was an amazing bonus. beds super comfy with super fresh new white sheets - felt like I should've been paying way more. Location is great - most places in the city walkable within 30mins, and a five minute walk away from central station so really easy to use public transport"

"Everything was great. Absolutely perfect for the price. Good location. Comfortable bed, clean room (woman) and common spaces. The kitchen is big enough for everyone, and you also have the chance to wash clothes if you would like to. In the “living room” you can find card and board games. For me this place was 10/10."

"The cleanest hostel I’ve ever stayed in probably, super cosy and warm despite the cold Swedish February outside! The kitchen and chill out areas were great and spacious, the sauna was hot and super clean, the staff were helpful, the hostel felt very safe with the secure key codes for the rooms and external door, and the perfect location too"

"The hostel has successfully turned around every disadvantage it has. So well done! 1. Confusing building structure → Draw the map and label every corner and space. Equip electric locks at every exit to ensure safety. 2. Cold basement → Provide wool blankets and cushions. And don’t forget the sauna is a necessity. 3. Depressing winter days → Add colorful designs and lend skate shoes for free. Other lovely advantages: provide free pasta, kind and dynamic staffs speak perfect English and multi-languages, free luggage storage within 24 hours."

"Highly recommended! Excellent location. Great kitchen: Large space with a huge fridge and complete kitchenware. Work-friendly: The desks in the public area are perfect for laptop use. Comfortable shower: Hot water was consistent and relaxing. Convenient: Big shared sinks that are great for hand-washing clothes. I would definitely stay here again when I return to Stockholm!"
