"Perfect location, really friendly staff, amazing free snacks and drinks 24/7, free room upgrade, clean room and bathroom. I was upgraded to a windowless double room: still fairly compact but comfortable and I had no issues with the lack of window."

"The location of the hotel is very good, it's close to Ximen station as well as shops and eateries. The free snacks in the common area is such a nice treat!"

"The staff were helpful and friendly. The design was quirky and fun. The location was great. Free snacks, washing machines, common room were great - the common room is large so even when well used it did not seem crowded. Our room had a big bathroom - but the actual bed part was a little cramped. That is OK as there is a great common room. But could be a bit of an issue if you do not travel light."

"I have a thing about putting toilet paper in the bin. Unfortunately the sound proofing between rooms was not great and our direct neighbour decided to set there alarm for 5:00am every morning then let it go to snooze - 3 mornings in a row. The front desk sorted it. Just needs a bit of Autex or similar to help with the interroom sound proofing"

"The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They even help us transfer our clothings to the dryer in the middle of the night. That was really very helpful and relief our stress on getting the laundry done the next morning."

"Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Cho Hotel as it was conveniently located near the main streets of XiMenDing, with loads of food stores and options nearby. The hotel was about a 5-8 min walk to the train station, and bus stops too, which provided various options for navigating around to other areas of Taipei. The room was very spacious for two people, and even had an extra bed! Their linen and towels were kept clean as well, plus the bonus of the complimentary snacks and drinks on the 2nd floor in the main building was a great way to try the various flavours to decide which ones to find and buy as souvenirs!"

"If you need fresh air and light, I recommend booking the windowed rooms as you won't be able to see anything in the no-window room options."
