"From a personal perspective furniture not as comfortable as I would like, but that is due to my personal ailments, others may find it fine. The front rooms are noisy because of the bar and road."

"I love this place, and am honestly sad to leave. It is a cute little hostel with perfect location, walking distance to everything you need, and there is always an Uber close by if you need it. The pool and garden area is lovely, and has the best bar in town rigggght there on the spot. The kitchen is huge, and there are lots of spots for working, if that's something you're into. But what truly makes this place special is the staff - from the moment I stepped into the hostel I was treated like family, and even when I had to move to another hostel (as I had unfortunately booked another one before I discovered this little gem) I still kept going back on a daily basis, to see my new "family". And I was definitely not the only one doing that, as it is really this kind of place everyone just keeps coming back to, a safe little haven of beautiful people and cheap beers. I can safely say I WILL BE BACK!"

"The whole vibe of the hostel and staff was the best experience, I felt like home and decided to extend and stayed there my whole time in CT. The bar has good prices and is the best spot to socialize, the pool a perfect spot to chill on a hot day, the kitchen is big and well equipped and in generell the hostel was super clean and the bathrooms always available. Will miss it 🫶🏼"

"We arrived new years eve so were welcomed by the barman Hanz. He was totally trashed, welcomed us with "you're late", despite me messaging from the airport to say we had been delayed in passport control and would be late, I pointed this out and he groaned at me. Kept pushing us to drink alcohol, despite us explaining were not drinking, disappeared from the bar for so long that guests had to go looking for him and made quite a few racially charged comments, despite being in the company of black and mixed race guests. But please dont let this reflect badly on the place as a whole, every other staff member were incredible - friendly, attentive and truly welcoming."

"Great located in the middle if everything. VERY helpful and friendly staff. Clean room & bathroom, big kitchen with everything you need. Fresh coffee in the morning and cool drinks at the bar all day/evening long. Perfect for socializing. Hostel on Main Street= traffic. If you have a light skeep bring your earplugs. Short walk to beach, V&A waterfront or Sea Point. I loved my stay a lot 🫠"

"I stayed for the last 4 days of my two-week trip, and my only regret is not booking it for longer. The garden is the highlight - nice clean pool, and there are plenty of cozy places around the property to relax and hang out. Has a "home away from home" feel. The staff were incredibly helpful. It’s not a party hostel - the small pool bar has a nice relaxed, social vibe and mixed crowd. Overall, a warm and welcoming place I would happily return to."

"No soap in the bathrooms. The air quality in the 6-bed mixed dorm was quite bad, as the window opens into a hallway. However, the bunk bed was very comfortable."
