"We stayed in a caravan in a beautifully situated spot. The caravan was equipped with fridge and kettle. The swimming pool was very clean with lots of sun loungers. The staff were very accommodating. It was an amazng spot for birdwatching. Thank you for a perfect stay."

"We arrived late, so the host made sure we had all the information to get there and into our room. The room itself looks freshly renovated and while it is no luxury, it was perfect for us and, most importantly, very clean. There was also a swimming pool, which unfortunately, because of the weather during our stay, did not get to use."

"The pool was opened until 22:00, which is later than in most hotels. The breakfast was very nice! It had good quality items and one could also have boiled eggs, cheese and charcuterie."

"Despite the late check-in, I was greeted friendlily by a staff member at reception who handed me my key and let me know where to find the WiFi code and so on. The next morning a different person greeted me with a big smile and showed me to the breakfast area, which was more than adequate. Since I was on a road trip, I liked the fact I could easily park my car and get onto the main roads out of town within minutes."

"The Hotel De'Univers is in a great location in Caen City just opposite Caen harbour and 3 minutes from the castle & shops. There are good bars & restaurants very close by. Stefan, the hotel owner, was great & helpful & spoke perfect English. I paid a little extra for breakfast each day and got good value for that. The rooms are quite small but the bed is very comfortable and the rooms are clean and well maintained. I was able to park my motorbike right outside the hotel. There is a large car park opposite the hotel too. There is a large market on the harbour car park & street on Sundays that took me an hour to walk around....recommended to see. The front door has a key code, so you can come and go as you wish."
