"the apartment was clean and located in the centre with good parking. Having a washing machine was an added bonus. Kitchen was well equipped. Location was good there is a boulangerie walking distance, and a supermarket virtually across the street, also a pizzeria/sushi around the corner which was very convenient."
"The bed was a cheap Ikea bed that was too small for two adults and uncomfortable. It has no air conditioning, which in cooler months would be ok, however the days we were there it was hot and the apartment being on the top level was very hot. There are two fans in the apartment but they are of no use."

"Nous avons apprécié l’emplacement du Clos Chantegrive en centre ville mais très calme . Le parking est un plus. L’appartement très proprec est confortable et aménagé avec goût. C’est la deuxième fois que nous venons au clos chantegrive dans 2 appartement différents et nous sommes entièrement satisfait. L’arrivée autonome avec une boîte a clés est très bien et les explications fournies sont super."

"The seaside location was amazing, watching the sea was so calming. The beds were so comfortable we slept in almost every day. The space was huge, and everyone had a place to themselves. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed from breakfast to dinner. It was a short drive to the local shops and the supermarket. We visited Cherbourg (a 50-minute drive) and the La Cité de la Mer which is a museum with an aquarium, a nuclear submarine and a Titanic exhibition. We also visited Sainte-Mer-Èglise (a 35-minute drive) and went to the Airborne Museum, which had one of the best displays of the D-Day landings. If you know the movie 'The Longest Day' from 1964, where the parachutist gets caught on the church, this is the town."

"Fabulous breakfast with home produced jams and fruit. Our host, Chris, was so welcoming and helpful. Our room was comfortable. The shower was the best I have ever experienced and there was a big choice of shower gel, shampoo, face wash, etc. to use. The guesthouse is situated in a small hamlet, near the coast - an idyllic rural location."
