"Elena is very welcoming, the pool a nice place to cool down and the table d’hôte was excellent! All in all everything was super. Nicely decorated rooms and hallway, airco worked (important when it’s very hot outside)."

"The house is so beautiful… authentic French decor with amazing modern bathrooms, beautiful antique furniture, plenty of pillows and very generous with towels! The courtyard where we had breakfast is beautiful and the pool is perfect, half in the shade for much of the day. We cannot say enough about our hosts who are completely delightful. They were so welcoming, warm, friendly and helpful. Another thing about breakfast! Home-made jam from their own damsons and (I’m not kidding!) the BEST marmalade I have ever eaten… again, home-made. We genuinely could not fault a single thing about this beautiful hotel. We stayed for 8 nights and it was a wrench to leave"

"Our whole stay was a delight and surpassed expectation on all levels. The owners were, charming, helpful and marvellous hosts. The catering was perfect as was pretty much all aspects of the Hotel."

"We loved everything about our stay in this gorgeous accommodation. Elena and Herve made us feel most welcome, even though we were a last-minute booking and possibly interrupted their day. Our room was spacious, decorated beautifully and spotlessly clean. Everything was provided to make our stay comfortable while travelling. The bed was probably the most comfortable we’ve ever slept on. We went for a swim in their lovely pool and enjoyed relaxing on the sun lounges for a while. There’s a great pizza restaurant directly across the road. Elena’s dining room is also beautifully decorated and we were provided with a very substantial breakfast consisting of eggs, bacon, croissants with homemade jams, yoghurt and fruit. We would absolutely 1000% recommend you stay at Mas Elena!"

"The courteous hosts were waiting for us as we parked the motorcycle. Straight in and after introductions and being shown to the room we changed and headed for the sunny garden and pool. Wines were available and we swiftly found ourselves munching on complementary olives and nibbles while we soaked away the dust of the road. Later we crossed the road to the nearby restaurant for dinner before retiring to the stylishly decorated room for a quiet nights sleep. The hosts ran restaurants and have a superb knack with being hospitable without interfering. They have also toured by motorcycle extensively and gave us some tips for our route through France - Vercours was amazing!"
