"The chalet is lovely, it's in a really good location, right in the middle of La Chapelle-d'Abondance, it has parking behind in the courtyard and it's just off the main route through the village. We were advised close to our check-in time that the heating had had an issue, there were some radiators left for us, but we had an 11 month old baby and we needed more (the host's sister dropped off more on the next day) and the heating was fixed on the first day the plumber was available. The host even came over to apologise and he helped me jump start my car (the temperature went down to -10). It's a lovely chalet, it might need a little modernising, but you're not really there for the chalet, more the mountains, skiing/snowboarding. I would have no hesitation to come back and stay here again."

Bon matelas, duvet chaud ( on est venu en octobre), cuisine bien agencée, jolie terrasse avec transats et tables pour manger dehors, bref tout est fait pour se sentir comme chez soi. Et la cerise sur le gâteau: l'accueil et l'hospitalité inoubliables de Marie-Catherine et sa famille, ainsi que les attentions à notre arrivée. Merci pour tout!"

"The house is beautifully decorated and very spacious. There are two large bedrooms and a living area, kitchen and terrace. Very comfortable and everything you need for a 2 week stay! Plenty of towels and bed linens. The kitchen has a huge gas airflex stove and oven; and a big airfryer. So you can easily cook meals if you want. Also, there are several restaurants within 15 km and one (l'Orchidee which is very nice right in the village. Also the boulangerie in the village is excellent, The countryside is so relaxing and quiet. Rolling hills and fields where horses are grazing. You can walk all around the property (about 40 hectares) which is impeccably maintained. The countryside is great for hiking or biking We brought our border collie and he loved roaming around the fields. The hosts are very friendly and helpful; always trying to make sure that you have everything you need."
