I sometimes had trouble sleeping because of the noise outside - but there is not much one could do about that!

"Krásné místo. Krasná panoramata. Perfektní vybavení, bylo tam úplně vše. Náročná cesta (ze Šavniku z hlavní cca 22 minut). Majitel na pozemku buduje další stavbu, je tam často jeho rodina i přátelé. Ale dům je jen pro Vás. Všichni jsou milý, přátelský, strašně fajn lidi. Není to samota, v pár domech okolo bydlí lidé. Skvělé místo. V noci absolutní ticho. Prostě skvělé a kompletně vybavené."

"location was excellent, close to limassol, in the foothills of Troodos, and all locations not much over an hours drive away, Hosts were friendly, very helpful and flexible when flights went wrong. Cottage was clean and full of character, beds were comfortable. Most things you would expect were supplied including very good wifi. Getting up to eat breakfast on the terrace in the warm morning sun was one of the joys of the holiday."

Not a dislike but just to be clear, that as expected in a mountain house, there are multiple levels and therefore steps.

"It was wonderful. Ximena our host was just the best. We loved the pool and the generous outside loungers and seating areas. It being March and the crazy hot season, the pool water was like bath water! The location was fantastic. Everything was beautifully clean. It was lovely to have our own kitchen, which was generously stocked up before our arrival. There was nothing to fault. We loved our stay here."

Nothing really. However, it would be great if the property had a loundry machine, it gets tricky without one for longer stays with family. Internet connection would be great addition as well.

"Loved the place mainly for it's hot springs and spacious green area."

The only inconvenience was that we ran out of water and weren't able to use until next morning, and the water tank that was filled during the night overflowed and downpoured on 1 of the rooms causing rapturous noise until we finally got a hold of a staff to close the tube(?).

"The house is comfortable in a quiet location. Unfortunately, our stay was cut short due to a medical issue that needed regular treatment in town—no fault of the host or house."

A car is needed as there are few facilities close by.

"We had a very spacious appartment. The location is amazing you can walk everywhere and start cross country skiing right at the appartment. For us it was a very nice stay and we would come again!"

Overall the appartment came into the years a little bit. Some lights were not working so well for example, the sauna was hard to get very hot and the fan in the bathroom did not work. We did not mind very much but maybe there should be some maintenance works done in the nearer future.

- Confusing check in. Drove all the way down to then have to drive all the way back up again? - Got told on check in that they have a fair use electric policy. I asked for further info about how much usage that meant and how much I would have to pay extra but the staff could not clarify, only that we should use aircon max of 12 hrs a day. We are sensible with electric, but still made me wonder if we had to pay at end of stay. (We didn’t have to luckily) - Could not turn off outside lights and it bothered me as the room wasn’t very dark because of that. (Also thought they were concerned about electric usage??) I asked the question but never got a reply from them… I would recommend improving these points, but we still had an amazing stay!!

"We had a wonderful week at Les Gites de Robinson. Communication with Carole had been excellent in the weeks prior to our holiday and when we did arrive she was so helpful and made us feel very welcome. The gite is spacious and spotlessly clean and the kitchen has all that is needed to prepare meals. The beds are very comfortable, the showers in both the modern bathrooms are excellent and, although we did not make use of it, the swimming pool is in a lovely garden setting. The gite is conveniently located in a quiet residential area, only about 300m from a well-stocked supermarket and bakery. We would absolutely recommend staying here. Thank you for having us, Carole and Gilles!"
